University of Seville (US-AGR155). Since 2014, group AGR155 from the University of Seville has worked in the production of biofuels using industrial by-products, such as the paste generated in vegetable oil refinery plants, which is difficult to sell back in the market. The group researched on a process to use this paste as a raw material for the production of biodiesel, which was funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science (MEC) through a national plan project in the 2014 call. It also researched on how to reuse an olive-mill by-product called ¨alperujo¨ to produce biodiesel: www.us.es
